President's Park - Lead, SD

At President's Park you'll be impressed by 20-foot bust likenesses of 42 American presidents such as Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Each magnificent bust is surrounded by biographical information as well as state and national flags from the corresponding era in history. Your self-guided tour will interest both children and adults alike. Meals are available at the Garden Café, or you can bring your own snacks for a picnic in the gazebos. History, art and nature merge beautifully here in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

About the Artist

David Adickes, an internationally famous sculptor and painter, is the genius behind these amazing images of our presidents. Works by the Texas native are on display at major art museums across the country. The sculpture garden at President's Park is David's tribute to our heritage.
