Experience historic American presidents George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson and Theodore Roosevelt in larger-than-life fashion. Your adventure begins with the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, where you'll be able to stand in awe of one of America's wonders. You'll have time to tour the visitor center, do some souvenir shopping, and visit exhibits. Custer State Park is the next stop on the tour, where you will take a break for lunch, which is a buffalo stew. You will drive on the Iron Mountain Road, which features pigtail bridges and breathtaking views of the Black Hills. After lunch, you will get to experience Sylvan Lake. The Crazy Horse Memorial is your next stop and is the site of the world's "largest mountain carving in progress." This ongoing project is a private, non-profit educational and humanitarian project begun at the request of the Native Americans. The Mount Rushmore Tour also concludes with a ride on the 1880 train, which will take you over the rugged landscape of South Dakota and the Black Hills in a vintage train. Tour Highlights Include:

Our tour was great, the driver (Randy) was so informative about the area and we learned far more about the area than if we had driven ourselves.
Our lunch was a wonderful A-Z salad bar type somewhere between the Crazy Horse Museum and Mt Rushmore.

This was wonderful! The guide was very personable and informative. Would have liked a choice of lunch place, though. NOT an expensive buffet with little heat!
