Opened in 1971 with the Billy Graham Crusade passing through, Texas Stadium has been the long-time host of the Dallas Cowboys and other major events, drawing tens of thousands of people under its unique open dome. There is such a slew of activities that annually appear at Texas Stadium! Sportswise, it plays host to the Texas state high school football championships, college football games, and Supercross & Monster Truck events. There are huge Hispanic celebrations held here, drawing hundreds of thousands for Cinco de Mayo and Diez Y Seis.
Tours are available, just not during the all-important Cowboy games, so make your plans accordingly! On your way out, stop in the Pro Shop and pick up your Cowboy gear. Texas Stadium sure is something!
