In this setting, Dallas' MSU's Meadows School of Arts offers the Meadows Museum, with world-wide exhibits such as the Medieval & Early Renaissance Spain, from Boston's Museum of Fine Arts; Apocalypse-Images from the Book of Revelation, from the Bridwell Library Special Collection; or Fernando Gallego & His Workshop-The Altarpiece from Ciudad Rodrigo, paintings from the Collection of the University of Arizona Museum of Art.
Also, the Gates Restaurant at the Meadows Museum expands on the fine art of the highest quality cuisine, with the most elegant of regional Spanish dishes. In honor of the visiting exhibitions, specialties such as the exhibit, "Tile Design in Valencia: From the Middle Ages Through the Early 20th Century- Paella Valenciana", is honored by a dish of saffron rice simmered with chicken, sausage, mussels, clams, calamari and shrimp. Another specialty dedicated to the exhibit, "A Tribute to Texas Art: The Gift of William J. Hill", is an entrée which features Buffalo, locally farmed east of Fort Worth.
