When you visit the Legends of the Game Baseball Museum, you will be amazed at the depth and scope of how America's famous pastime is depicted. Of course you will find out all you ever wanted to know about the history of the Texas Rangers ball team. However, this museum is so much more.
You will discover so much history about the Negro League as well as the Texas League. You will learn more about Texas' own baseball hero Nolan Ryan, a pitcher who played with several baseball teams including the Rangers as well as the Houston Astros. Exhibits and displays on loan from the National Baseball Hall of Fame will provide you with a glimpse into the lives of other baseball greats like Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, Lou Gehrig and Ty Cobb.
The Learning Center is tops for teaching visitors about the science of baseball as well as other subjects like math relating to the sport. If you visit the Legends of the Game Baseball Museum on an off-game day, the parking is free. However, there is still a fee for admission for the tour and museum.
