Cardboard Boat Regatta at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor near Dallas, TX
Get to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor this Spring to experience the thrilling competition of the Cardboard Boat Regatta! Cheer on your own personal boat as it races down the lazy river, for a unique time of competitions amidst the relaxing and thrilling attractions of Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in the Dallas area.
Hurricane Harbor will provide you with all of the tools you'll need to create your own cardboard boat, including duct tape, sheets of plastic, a box cutter, a pencil, a yard stick and three pieces of cardboard. You and your team will have the opportunity to either create your boat beforehand, or spend two hours onsite doing so before the race. Then, head over to the Wave Pool and try out your creation! The winner receives a trophy prize.
There is also a Mini-Boat Regatta for the kids, where they will race a small, pinewood sailboat along a rain gutter as they blow into the sail. Face painting and bubble activities are also available for the children, as well as a special part of the park, designed just for them, called Hook's Lagoon.
