Built in 1914, and designed by architect Mary Colter, Lookout Studio is still a place for terrific photo opportunites and post card shopping.
Tucked away into the valley's edge of Angel Point Lodge, Lookout Studio was created especially for travellers to stop, rest, and warm themselves by the fire for a brief repose before heading back out on the road. A telescope is available to view the beautiful surroundings up close.
Visitors today still stop for this reason, as well as purchase souvenirs, rock and fossil specimens, photography, artworks, and books. Open Hours: Summer: Daily 8 AM-7 PM; Winter: Daily 9 AM -5 PM.
