There's so much here for the family to explore and learn, and it's not all about trees. From the first day the doors open on April 1, there are a variety of events, workshops, activities and projects, which are geared toward the purpose of protecting and enjoying the plants and wildlife of northern Arizona.
There are exhibits of preserved and live spiders, insects and other creepy crawly things native to this area, and so much more. The arboretum is open from 9 AM to 5 PM daily April 1-October 31, and located four miles south of Route 66 on scenic Woody Mtn. Road in West Flagstaff. For more information, visit the website at .
