The magic of The Polar Express, the classic children's book by Chris Van Allsburg, is yours to experience when you climb aboard at the Grand Canyon Railway Depot, Williams, AZ. This special train ride aboard historic Pullman passenger cars takes you through the wilderness to the "North Pole" and has become a tradition for many families. Sit back and enjoy the trip by sipping on hot chocolate, snacking on cookies and listening to a reading of "The Polar Express". Once the train arrives at the beautiful Christmas village, Santa Claus and his reindeer will be waiting to greet everyone. For the return trip, Santa Claus will come aboard so that he can hand each child a special gift chosen especially for them: a silver bell from Santa's sleigh which signifies their belief in Santa Claus.The round trip journey is approximately an hour long and offers five different classes of service as well as packages featuring overnight stays at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel in Williams.
