Annual Kevin Twitty Memorial Golf Tournament at Elephant Rocks Golf Course

The Kevin Twitty Memorial Golf Tournament is an annual golfing event held every fall at a golf course in or around Williams, Arizona. This event can be a great way for visitors to the Grand Canyon to take a one-day golf break while raising money for charity. Kevin Twitty died in 2002 when he was 25 years old in a drowning accident. The oldest of seven children and an avid golfer, Kevin was known as a kind, happy-go-lucky guy who had devoted his life to promoting Christian values. He spent much of his free time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, the charity that builds homes for families.

The tournament, held annually since 2004, raises money for Habitat for Humanity in Kevin's name. The golf courses where the event is held are ideal for golfing any time year-round, with the Grand Canyon region's temperate and dry desert climate. So if you enjoy golf and would like to honor the memory of a young man devoted to charity and Christianity, this event is for you.
