Rodeo in the Rockies at Golden, BC

Golden beckons all cowboys and cowgirls for the Rodeo in the Rockies this labor day weekend!  This event includes traditional Western recreation such as bull riding, calf roping, saddle bronc, and bareback riding, all with prizes. Cowboys and cowgirls from all over the continent come to Kicking Horse Country for this event to contend and join in the activities. Even if you're not planning to partake in the activities, visitors are welcome to watch and cheer the contenders on. Plus, besides the rodeo events, the Rodeo in the Rockies features Country-Western musicians, a parade, pancake breakfasts, and a Dinner and Hoe Down Dance. So whether you're a cowboy or cowgirl or just a fan of Country-Western style fun, you won't want to miss Golden's Rodeo in the Rockies!
