Mt. 7 Psychosis Downhill Race in Golden, BC

Come to Golden to see the world's steepest, longest, and fastest downhill bike race! The Mt. 7 Pyschosis Downhill Race was begun in 1998 for Golden locals. This race features a drop of over 4,000 vertical feet, and the record time for going down is 14 minutes. The whole weekend of this event provides activities for visitors and locals alike. On Friday, you'll have the opportunity to see the Cross Country Toonie Race. The 5k race occurs on Saturday and is split up by age groups. On Sunday, the event concludes with races by five different categories of racers. Registration opportunities occur on Friday and Saturday, so if you're looking to participate in this exciting competition, you're definitely welcome! $10,000 in prizes will be given out throughout the weekend, so if you're looking to test your skills, it might just be worth it!
