Golden Discovery
From experiencing grizzlies in a natural habitat to exploring the Columbia River, Golden Discovery is an encompassing look into the area of Golden.
With the Golden Discovery travelers will find an entire day of excitement that includes a visit to the Grizzly Bear Refuge, a sightseeing gondola ride, lunch at Eagle's Eye restaurant and a guided Columbia River Safari! The morning begins with a jet boat cruise along the Columbia River, where you'll spend approximately 90 minutes enjoying the beautiful contrast of clusters of pine trees and white mountain peaks, as well as experiencing a variety of wildlife that calls the area home. After the Columbia River Safari, you'll be whisked to an elevation of nearly 4,000 feet with a ride aboard Kicking Horse's sightseeing gondola.
After the gondola ride, you can replenish your energy when you are treated to a four-star lunch at Eagle's Eye restaurant at the Kicking Horse Resort. The afternoon will be complete with a visit to the Grizzly Bear Refuge, where guests can interact with a grizzly in its natural habitat.
