The Easter Sunrise Service at Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort in Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a great way to start Easter. The service offers the Gatlinburg community and its visitors a chance to worship together with the beauty of the Smoky Mountains as a back drop, it will touch your heart in a very special way. The service features local pastors from the Gatlinburg Ministerial Association. It begins are around 7:00 am and continues for 30 or 40 minutes. You can take a free tram ride up the mountain beginning at about 6:15 am and running every 15 minutes until the service begins. It is also possible to drive up the mountain to Ober Gatlinburg and park in the free parking area available for the service. At the completion of the service the Ober Gatlinburg restaurant has a buffet available for a nominal price. The buffet includes many breakfast favorites like omelets, French toast, pancakes, bacon, hash browns, biscuits and muffins. Take your family and enjoy the beautiful service followed by a great buffet breakfast.
