Rosin up those bows and head on on out to the Christmas in the Smokies bluegrass festival. It is celebrating ten years with an entertainment lineup featuring remarkable artists. The hosts for the event are the up-and-coming Larkin sisters, Shaunna and Tina, along with their parents, all steeped in bluegrass traditions.
Some of the other entertainers are the Lewis Family, known as the "First Family of Bluegrass Gospel," the highly-requested Goldwing Express, the Gary Waldrep Band, and many, many more. They declare that this year there will be plenty of "jam room," so expect some wild original licks! The festival's new home is the spacious
Ramada Inn and
Smoky Mountain Convention Center. This three-day festival features plenty of jam sessions and family-centered entertainment set to quick-pickin' bluegrass in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, so come on out and be entertained.
