Packing Advice for Weather in All Seasons for Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge

Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are located in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, which derive their name from the rising mists of early morning and the low flung clouds that appear to have been snagged on the blue-green mountaintops. With sights to enjoy year round, the Smoky Mountains have drawn visitors for centuries. From the beauty of the spring greens to the pristine snow of the winter, there is a season for everyone.

The weather is typical of the mountains with cool weather in the evenings and moderate temperatures year round. The average temperature for the year is 56 and the lows reach just below 30. Highs seldom reach above 90. With an annual snowfall of two to three feet, it is perfect for winter sports.
