Daredevil Falls
Daredevil Falls
Dollywood features a variety of rides, including thrill, water, family and children's rides. This is a picture of Daredevil Falls, a thrill ride and boat expedition ending with a 60-foot drop.

Dollywood is a fantastic theme park; however, it so large that travelers are bound to get a little hungry while there. Thankfully there are numerous restaurants, fast food areas, and of course southern cuisine. The Snack shops are filled with the aromas of fresh popped kettle corn and homemade ice cream and are some of the best near Great Smoky Mountain National Park

Southern Cooking
Travelers unaccustomed to the south may be surprised that they take their cooking very seriously here. Barbecue competitions are not unheard of, and if there was a category for it in the Summer Olympics, Dollywood would be there. Hickory House BBQ is not only the best barbecue at Dollywood, it has ranked some of the best in the nation. Their award winning pulled pork sandwiches are filled with intense mouth watering flavor and their side dishes equally as amazing.

LumberCamp Restaurant
Travelers looking to sit down and fill up over a large meal will find it at LumberCamp. The restaurant is highly reminiscent of a southern household dinner, with bell, grandmother, and all. The mess hall seats 150 people, who are served everything from hand battered catfish and chicken tenders to tasty golden brown potatoes. To complete the meal, why not try the stunning fried banana pudding.

Miss Lillian's
One of the most colorful characters of Dollywood is Miss Lillian, who runs the Chicken House all-you-can-eat buffet. Southern fried or lemon baked aren't the only options this restaurant has, as they also serve up an assortment of potatoes, salads, and desserts. Miss Lillian not only hosts the meal, but also sings for guests. Come hungry and relax for awhile, as this is one of the most entertaining meals at the park.

Quick Food
Travelers who just need a quick bite while heading out of the park towards The Comedy Barn or Country Tonite will be glad to know that a variety of quick food stands are around the park. Miss Stella's offers hand-dipped corndogs and fresh potato twirls. These hand held treats are seriously filling, clocking in at least a foot long. The outdoor sausage works isn't hard to find either, as you can smell it a mile away. The sizzling aroma draws in visitors for fresh smoked sausages, grilled with peppers and onions on a fresh baked roll.
