Daredevil Falls

Dollywood features a variety of rides, including thrill, water, family and children's rides. This is a picture of Daredevil Falls, a thrill ride and boat expedition ending with a 60-foot drop.

It's no secret that the Smoky Mountains' favorite daughter is a fan of children, so it only seems natural that Dollywood sponsor a KidsFest celebration specifically for the little ones. This two-month festival will showcase a variety of special shows, activities, rides, and other events aimed specifically at children, and there's plenty of fun to keep even the older kids - and their parents - thrilled with all of the fun of Dollywood from June 16 through August 6, 2006.

SpongeBob SquarePants Turbo Action Ride

• Fans of the world's most lovable underwater pineapple-dwelling sponge can revel in the SpongeBob SquarePants Turbo Action Ride, which will take families under the sea for an indoor adventure! Height restrictions apply, and kids must be at least 42 inches to enjoy this attraction.

Clifford the Big Red Dog Show

• The friendliest big red dog in the world will take the stage in front of live audiences during a special KidsFest performance. The 20-minute show will appeal to families that includes families of all ages.

Dirk Arthur Presents Big Cats & Magic

• Know a child who loves animals or magic? This new show brings Las Vegas magician and animal conservationist Dirk Arthur to the stages of Dollywood for a jaw-dropping show that features big cats, including panthers, tigers, and more! Kids will not only be enamored by the graceful beasts, but also amazed by the stunning magic Arthur performs!

Dolly's Imagination Playhouse? featuring the Penguin Players

• Presented by Penguin Group USA, this show will actually feature a series of three different musical adaptation of favorite children's books. These 20-minute musical masterpieces will showcase a cast of extremely talented performers, and will include music written and performed by Dolly Parton! The entire family is sure to love these shows, will are scheduled every day throughout KidsFest.

VeggieTales'® Video - Larry Boy and the Bad Apple

• Be among the very first to see the newest VeggieTales adventure with the world premiere of Larry Boy and the Bad Apple. The 30-minute video is premiering only at Dollywood, so be sure to bring your family along to witness the world's most wholesome fruits & veggies in their latest adventure!

Roving Characters

• Have your cameras ready to capture the look on your child's face when he or she spots some of the delightful characters who will be roaming the streets of Dollywood. From Patches the Scarecrow to Walker (the endearing bluetick hound), this cast of festive characters will help you and your family make the most of your KidsFest adventure.
