Dedicated to the cause of supporting the Hot Springs Community in their endeavors at promoting a spirit of harmony and togetherness, the Webb Community Center also aims to improve the standard of living of the populace it caters to.
Located at Pleasant Street, the Center conducts an array of events all through the year which include educational programs like workshops and activities for children, as well as a number of social and economic development courses. Here, participants can opt for outreach programs which are aimed at uplifting and educating the youth, while also touching on the pertinent issues of self-esteem and character development. The Annual Webb Center Camp Program, which is conducted in the summer months, allows children to participate in a number of camps, located at diverse venues throughout the country.
The Center also focuses its efforts at uplifting the lower socio-economic stratum of the Hot Springs Community by conducting free computer literacy classes. To help protect members from crime and bring to light, the grievances of those who have been affected by criminal activity, the Webb Community Center conducts regular meetings of the TASC, or Together against Senseless Crimes.
A large number of fund-raising activities are conducted here all through the year including performances by the Hot Springs Jazz Society, bakes and even community dinners.
