Simpson's on The Strand, as the name implies, is located on Strand Street (2413) in Galveston, Texas. It is promoted as one of Texas' "finest and most historic art and antique galleries."
Simpson's on The Strand in Texas is not to be confused with a renowned British restaurant in London of the same name. The English restaurant is popular and played an important part in the development of chess in the 19th century.
Galveston's Simpson's on The Strand is a gallery that features Oriental rugs and carpets, English and European porcelains, Art Noveau and Art Deco, marble and bronze sculptures, antique linens and lace, antique Americana, English and European furniture, Old Master drawings, fine estate jewelry, rare crystal, sterling silver and vintage clothing. It is currently directed by James Nonus, an antique merchant well known to the area. The gallery has professional affiliations with the Member National Auctioneers Association and the Member Texas Auctioneers Association.
The top two stories of the gallery were completely destroyed in the 1943 hurricane. The entire building was completely restored in 2001.

The gallery is open seven days a week from 10 am to 6 pm.
