The Sanibel Steakhouse in Fort Myers is the perfect setting for a business lunch, celebration or romantic evening, and is locally renowned for the quality of its food, service and atmosphere. The restaurant and lounge are styled in old Chicago brick and cherry wood, and provide elegant yet comfortable surroundings.
The menu offers a wide selection of seafood, fish and steaks. Choose from appetizers ($7-13) such as the popular Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, Select Gulf Oysters or the succulent Beef Carpaccio. Seafood and fresh fish options ($22-32) include Atlantic Salmon, with vine tomatoes and goat cheese, Florida Lobster Tail with herbs and butter and Shrimp Tempura with asian vegetables.
The Steakhouse only uses USDA prime corn fed beef that is hand-trimmed, and aged on the premises. Popular steak dishes are the Filet Mignon (7 and 11 ounce), New York Strip Steak (12 and 16 ounce), and the restaurant's signature dish - the 38 ounce Porterhouse Steak ($70). Choose from five classic sauces, or for something even more special, try your favourite steak stuffed with Florida lobster or crab meat. A potato dish, vegetables and fresh bread are served with each order.
Order wine by the glass or the bottle and choose from over 150 wines to accompany your meal. Try one of the sumptuous desserts such as the Chocolate Lava Cake, or Crème Brulee with Berries, and relax with coffee, single malt or brandy after dinner.
The steakhouse is open 7 days a week for lunch (11.am-2.00pm) and dinner (5.00pm-10.00pm). Reservations are recommended.
