Imaginarium in Fort Myers, FL
When it comes to the whole family having fun and learning together, the Imaginarium is the best place to go! For those who have never heard of the Imaginarium, it is located in Fort Myers, Florida.
Many times when families are on vacation in Fort Myers, Florida, one of the places on their lists to see is the Imaginarium. Not only is the Imaginarium a place for children, but it is a place that the family can enjoy as a whole! In fact, there are many things that can be done as well as learned!
Many people think that they know a lot about the animals until they go through the educational programs that the Imaginarium has to offer. Some of the programs that are offered are hands-on programs that teach about live animals, physics, chemistry, and other topics. There are also exhibits for people to see, as well! One of the main exhibits is the sporty science exhibit; which is the combination of the hockey team and baseball team of Fort Myers, and the Imaginarium. The exhibit shows how science is important to do most of the everyday activities that we do. There are also three "sea-to-see" touch tanks open as well! Those tanks are a 600 gallon tank of stingrays, a 400 gallon tank of mollusks, and a 10 gallon tank of urchins and crabs; all which are wheel chair accessible.
One other thing that is great is if you wanted to have a party at the Imaginarium, which is also possible! In fact, they host birthday parties that include everything but the food!
When visiting the museum and you get hungry, you may also visit the café. There are many things to choose from, tasty salad to sandwiches or ice cream treats if you are hot!! No matter what you choose or what you see in the museum, it will definitely be a trip that you remember!
