The much-touted and award-winning chef Mark Militello offers up his original contemporary American cuisine at Mark's Las Olas, one of his four restaurants in Florida. The eclectic menu offers diners many unique choices and showcases some of the chef's signature dishes, including pan-seared Ingrid sea scallops with Jerusalem artichokes, and crab-crusted black grouper with wild mushroom ragout.
There are plenty of non-seafood dishes as well, such as white duck with mango honey glaze and gourmet wood-oven pizzas. The dining room, with its cozy booths and mahogany furnishings, creates a relaxing atmosphere, while the open kitchen allows guests a glimpse at the bustling activity going on behind the scenes.
