The cabins are all eco-friendly with solar and wind power and rainwater is filtered for use in the cabin and propane is used for cooking and heating. The Aspen style yurt is a round type of shelter with no electricity or running water but there are flushable chemical toilets nearby.

In both lodging scenarios, you can expect skiing and snowshoeing available right outside your door which is the main appeal when you stay at the Nordic Center in Flagstaff. The best part of it all is that it is located on Coconino National Forest property!

Snow skiing lessons are available as well as clinics to brush up on your technique or set out and enjoy over 20 miles of cross country trails that cater to a variety of skill levels. For pure fun, you can go sledding or snowshoeing and wind up your day with a warming cup of hot cocoa and some hot snacks at their local concession area.
