This park covers an area of six acres and is mostly a forest-like setting. This reflects well on the fact that this Riordan Estate and Mansion was built by people who made their money in the logging industry.

This event in the Riordan Mansion State Historic Park is interesting not only because of the historic content, but also because of all that can be seen. The mansion itself is huge, being more than 13,000 sq. feet and all 40 rooms show what things were like back in its heyday. The house is over 100 years old and most of the park and mansion can be explored at a pace of your choosing. The only restriction is the eastern part of the house for which you will have to go on a guided tour to see.
