Head out into the backcountry below the rim of the Grand Canyon for a thrilling hike through the spectacular natural wonders of the region with an adventurous hike that ranges from mild to moderate rating. Along the way, you'll spot Indian cliff dwellings that are thousands of years old, pre-historic fossils, and natural wildlife along this amazing desert adventure. Your small group will be led by an expert naturalist who will take you to several "hidden treasure" areas not seen by most tourists, so you'll have a rare look at the true nature of the Grand Canyon area.
The Grand Canyon Explorer is perfectly suited for first-time visitors to the natural wonder with wide trails and fantastic views. The hike is ideal for families, couples, and small groups. Difficulty rating: mild to moderate.

- Tour will pick you up at any hotel in Flagstaff, Williams, or Grand Canyon Village. If you are staying outside of these cities, please contact Angel's Gate Tours at least 24 hours in advance to arrange a meeting place in Flagstaff.
