You will be speeding down the slopes in no time when you enroll in the Fernie Alpine Resort Winter School. This school offers lessons for snow skiing and snowboarding for those who are new to the sports, as well as those who may be a little rusty or who just want to improve their technique. Fernie's Adult Snow School has a class to suit any level and any interest.
You can choose from a two or four hour class up to a three day class, giving you the know- how you need to safely cruise down the slopes without taking up your whole vacation with a class. The class sizes are limited to just ten students, so you are sure to get personalized attention from your professional snow sports instructor. Inexperienced skiers and snowboarders will learn the basics, while experienced enthusiasts can take a class to learn how to better navigate deep snow and steep inclines as well as get vertical. The school also features classes on cross country skiing and snow shoeing.
