Eureka Springs and North Arkansas Railway in Eureka Springs, Arkansas offers guests the ability to step back into time to the time of locomotives. You can view a 1940's diesel locomotive in operations. Or, the location features an exhibit with a steam locomotive. There is a real, working turntable that works to turn the engines around. You can also dine in the dining car as you ride on the railroad. The Eurekan Dining Car offers foods from the 1920's. These foods that will take you back in time.
Visitors can talk with the conductor and the crew while the process of switching operations takes place. This is a true experience of a lifetime that allows visitors to really feel and see the way that people traveled throughout the country just a few decades ago. There is a collection of vintage rolling stock located here as well. It is one of the largest and the most authentic collection of memorabilia available. Much of the memorabilia that you will find here can be dated back to the first visitors that arrived by rail service in Eureka Springs well back to 1883. When you arrive at Eureka Springs and North Arkansas Railway, you will walk into the Eureka Springs Depot, which is a replica of the way that the depot actually looked.
There are a variety of other exhibits to explore including the turntable, rolling stocks, an automobile outfitted to run on the railroad track, and even a handcar. There is a gift shop as well as a snack area as well.
