Carving in the Ozarks is an event focused on the art of chainsaw carving. Throughout the weekend visitors of Eureka Springs will be treated to a number of exciting artistic displays that will have you never looking at a chainsaw the same way again! Typically one to two dozen carvers take part in the event each year, creating a masterpiece right before your eyes.
Typical events for the festival include the main carving event, quick carve competition and an auction. Many of the pieces made during the festival will be put up for auction, with proceeds benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation. This spring get out to Eureka Springs for a time of heartland craftsmanship and a good cause with the Carving in the Ozarks Festival.
