The Phoenix Gymnastics Centre in Edmonton Alberta, Canada is located on Parsons Road. It provides a variety of gymnastic programs and special events for those in the area. Visitors are welcome to stop in and see what is available to do, participate in as well as learn. They offer a range of courses including beginning programs and advanced programs. Their preschool programs are specific by age. There is a program designed for 2 and 3 year olds and one for 4 and 5 year olds. Each provides a very fun but important class that is about one hour long. They teach body awareness here and give a basic understanding and ability in gymnastic skill. For those over the age of six, there are programs designed to teach skills and to improve development. Trampoline and tumbling programs are available for those over the age of six. They provide basics and are non competitive courses. Fun is the goal.
For those that are adults, the location offers classes for you, too, at all levels of training. Anyone over the age of 16 can participate and learn something new in these non competitive courses. For those that do want to be competitive, Phoenix Gymnastics offers that option too, with both provincial and national stream programs.
