O'Leary Leisure Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is a fun, relaxing location for families of all ages.& Located on 132 Avenue, it is centrally located so that visitors and locals can take advantage of the facilities. The facilities include a full size, year round pool. The pool measures 25m by 15m and provides for six lanes of swimming. This indoor pool is available throughout the year and is heated to 29.5 degrees C or 85.1 degrees F. There is also diving equipment located at the pool for your use. There is one, 1m and one 3m board available. There is also a separate dive pool that measures 15m by 15m and has one 5m platform to use.
There are many activities happening at the location year round. Lap swim is available most times. There are also a number of swim teams that use the facilities including a youth swim team and a high school swim team. In addition, Synchronized swimming is taught and groups use the facilities for practice. One of the most in demand activities is that of aqua aerobics, a fun way to improve your health and get in shape using the water. Water walking and water jogging are also available. Therapeutic aquatics for injury improvement are often held here.
