Johnny Bright Sports Park in Edmonton, AB Just because you may not be a sports fan, does not mean that you can not come to the Johnny Bright Sports Park; which will be in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! In fact, anyone and everyone will be able to go there! Even though the Johnny Bright Sports Park is not done being built, there are many people in Edmonton, Alberta that are aware of what is happening! In fact, the city of Edmonton and the Edmonton Catholic Schools are teaming up to build the Johnny Bright Sports Park (which is now Jasper Place); which will be a public access part.
However, it is not a normal sports park! There are many different things that are being planned; a little for everyone! Of course there will still be all of the outdoor sports fields, but there will be many things indoors, as well! Some of the things that are being planned for an add-on are 3-4 multi-purpose meeting/activity rooms which will have a kids indoor play space, whirlpool, viewing area, larger family changing rooms, disabled accessibility feature, a large fitness area, as well as many upgrade to the fields outdoors as well.
Even though they are not building all new things, some of the older things will still be there; such as the indoor ice rink; which will still be the Bill Hunter Arena. However, there will be numerous changes to it; such as a lobby area, concession stands, and even changing rooms! Not only is the Johnny Bright Sports Park a great idea for the public people, but the park itself will have a great opportunity to be re-vamped! The Johnny Bright Sports Park is exactly what the city of Edmonton needs; something for everyone to go to!
