Galaxyland in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is a fun amusement park with something that's right for everyone.& The location opened in 1985 and has since added new rides and features throughout. This is an indoor amusement park and considered the largest in the world. There are more than 26 thrilling rides and various attractions located within. Even smaller children can enjoy a handful of rides as well as Kid's Playpark that is located here. This specific area of Galaxyland provides guests with four stories of interactive playing in a space theme.
During the school year, there are often teen dance parties including the annual Rock N Ride Dance Party which allows teens to play from 8 to midnight throughout the park, as well as to enjoy the latest music and video screens.
For younger children, rides include the Motojump, carousel, kiddie convoy and the space bump. Slightly taller children can enjoy rides like the cosmic spinner, galaxyland express, dragon wagon and flying galleon. The most daring rides include the newest Galaxy orbiter, space shot, solar flare and sonic storm. All rides have height restrictions for safety.
There is a lot of other things to do here too including a large game area, laser extreme, rock n' wall climbing and a fun house and haunted castle attraction. Food and treats are available including "gourmet world" which provides full meals. Guests are welcome to book parties and events ahead of time.
