The Budweiser Motor Sports Park in Edmonton, Alberta is a small track facility reputed to be one of the top ten in North America. It has a $75,000 playground, fully functioning 12-window main concession, permanent gift shop and a semi-private hospitality area. The Park also has a private VIP hospitality center called Thunder Alley. The Sports Park features a quarter mile IRHA sanctioned dragstrip, a 3/8 mile Clay Oval Track, a 10-acre Full Pro Motocross Track, a Mini-Sprint Cart Track and a 2.7 km road course.
The Drag Strip has a large area with paved pit lanes that holds about 450 competitors and a 12,000-square-meter extended pit area. Concrete barriers line the entire length. The Oval Track offers family seating with no alcohol or smoking allowed. The Motocross Track is open from May to October and offers fully organized practice sessions. There's an oval pit concession, beverage service, full concourse washroom facilities, more than a dozen portable restrooms, and full control tower restroom facilities.
There are separate Oval and Drag competitor entrance gates and permanent grandstands for each. The Drag grandstands holds 8500 and the Oval grandstands holds 3500. Five portable grandstands are also available and each of these holds 500. The Budweiser Motor Sports Park has a new Drag Tower Press Room/Media Center, drag pit shower units, 18 private Drag Sky Suites, and two Drag Tower Hospitality Suites. There are 20 Private Oval Skyboxes. The Park has a 52-year lease agreement with the Edmonton Airport Authority and is located adjacent to the International Airport, 10 minutes south of Edmonton on Highway 19. The Park has no noise or time restrictions.
