Every Thanksgiving since 1924, America???s Thanksgiving Parade has gone down Detroit???s Woodward Avenue. This tremendous parade is put on by The Parade Company. There are tremendous floats, helium-filled balloons, antique paper Mache heads, bands, and celebrities, of course. The Distinguished Clown Corp has become a traditional and well-loved part of America???s Thanksgiving Parade. The nation watches the celebration on national television! The parade forms up and begins at Mack and Woodward Avenue. There are grand stand seats available on Woodward Avenue where you can get an unobstructed view of the parade. You must purchase these tickets in advance. There are several events associated with the parade and sponsored by The Parade Company. Many serve as fundraisers to pay for the parade. There is a black-tie dinner called the Hob-Nobble Gobble. There is also a time when you can bring your family to see the floats and characters up close at The Parade Company studios.
