A Taste of the D at the Dossin Great Lakes Museum in Detroit, MI

If you happen to be in Detroit in October, you can experience "A Taste of the D" on Friday, the 19th. The event is only for adults who are twenty-one and older. It features beer tastings which showcase thirteen area breweries. The featured breweries include Arbor Brewing Company, Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales, Bell's Brewery of Kalamazoo, Dark Horse Brewing Company of Marshall, and Black Lotus Beer Company of Clawson. Many others will also be highlighted.

In addition to the great beer, wine tastings will also be held. Food items will be available through vendors such as Ben & Jerry's, Moo Moo's Vegetarian Cuisine, and Brown Bag Catering. Guests can enjoy music from DJ Scott Brandon. One other interesting tidbit is that astrology readings will also be available.
