Fort Walton Beach Golf Club is located on Lewis Turner Blvd in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.& There are two 18 hole championship golf courses located here. One golf course is for members and the other is for visitors. One of the courses is called The Pines Course. This course is at championship level, in other words is very challenging, and has a layout that includes some 6,800 yards of regulation play. The landscape for this particular course is through an upland pine forest.
The second golf course located here at the Fort Walton Beach Golf Club is the Oaks Course. This one features 6,400 yards of regulation play. This course is narrow and is lined down the fairways with oak trees. This park includes several rather challenging water hazards on several of the holes.
The Golf Club offers a junior golf program each summer which also offers free clinics to players. In addition, there are a variety of community benefiting charity golf tournaments that happen each year.
Additionally, the facilities also offer several amenities and services. The Edwin Watts Golf Shop is located here and is managed by an outside company. It provides high quality golf supplies. There is a restaurant located in the Golf Club, called Two Trees Restaurant. This is an ideal location for quality food and drink and can be accessed by both courses.
Visitors to either of the courses should make tee times in advance. Private event booking should also be done in advance. These quality courses are popular with tourists as well as with locals.
