Eden Gardens State Park
Eden Gardens State Park is located on what was once the Wesley homestead and a center for Wesley Lumber Company. Later, the land was sold and the house used by the owners for antique displays. Today, Eden Gardens State Park is over 115 acres of land that represents the landscape of Florida before it was completely settled. Longleaf pine and cypress trees fill the grounds, and many different gardens offer colorful accents to the scenery. You can tour the Wesley house, stroll along the gardens, or take a tour of the grounds. You will leave here with an appreciation for the Florida vegetation and the history of the economic, cultural and social conditions that shaped the state.
