The Arvada Center for the Arts & Humanities is a multifaceted Art Center that is well known for the variety of performances of national and international acclaim that are hosted here all throughout the year. The Center is also dedicated to encouraging awareness and participation through the historical museum, the arts exhibits and the array of workshops it organizes, which cater to enthusiasts of all ages.
The amphitheatre is a popular venue and an acclaimed platform where a plethora of shows are held. Admission to the galleries is free of charge and you can visit any time between 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, 1 am to 5 pm on Sunday or even pop in during the intermission.
A variety of exhibitions are held here which include the Winter Pottery Sale, where you can expect to find exquisite sculptures to functional pottery. You can even plan ahead and visit on a Family Art Day where you and your family can avail of performance tickets, a backstage tour, a gallery or a museum tour and even a hands-on workshop! You can even sign up for one of their renowned classes with a choice of an impressive 600 courses. From the performing arts to dance, ceramics to humanities, you'll be left stupefied at the variety here... you don't even have to be a resident of Arvada to enroll.
The Gift shop houses jewelry, ceramics, paintings and educational toys that make excellent gift ideas. You can even arrange to host your corporate events or meetings at the Banquet Hall which spans over 9,300 square feet.
