The Argo Gold Mine and Mill near Denver, in Idaho Springs, Colorado has been a long time historic area. The Tunnel was first constructed in 1893. The tunnel would take a total of 17 years to complete. When it was completed, it reached Central City, which is located nearly five miles away.
