In what is one of the most heated rivalries in all of the NFL the Kansas City Chiefs will be traveling to the mile-high atmosphere of Denver for what should be an explosive game. There are a number of questions to be answered on the field for both of these teams, but just as sure there are some key parts of each team that will undeniably lend a hand to their respective squads throughout the season.
The Chiefs have built on their defense with the addition of Ty Law and have arguably the best tight end in all of the NFL in Tony Gonzalez. And as long as quarterback Trent Green can continue to produce, despite his lack of targets to throw to this season, the Chiefs should roll along. As for the Broncos, their quarterback position is close to consistency as Jake Plummer realized his true talents last year passing for over 3,00 yards. Along with Plummer on offense, Champ Bailey, while aging by the day, is still a defensive force in the secondary.
However, despite the ups and downs of both teams, the heated rivalry between them alone should be more than enough to conjure enthusiasm, excitement and ultimately a great game in Denver.
