Volusia County Fair. Volusia County Fair is located in Deland, Florida, just a few minutes away from the busy daily life. The fair has maintained its historical tradition of pony rides, and as a place for farmers to exhibit their crops and sell livestock. Recently, the fair has evolved as combination of fairgrounds and convention centre to become an all-out fun event for everyone. The Volusia County Fair and Expo Centre consist of two outdoor arenas and two exhibit halls. The outdoor arenas are used for sporting events, circuses and concerts. The halls are used for farm exhibits. The Volusia County Fair and youth show, as it is officially called, is entirely oriented towards family and youth, where thousands of youngsters show their talent via contests, games and shows. On the grounds, there are many rides, live music bands, dancers and hypnotist???s shows. Several youths in their best dresses participate in the Little Miss and Mr. Volusia County Fair and get honors like Best Smile, Best Personality, Best Dressed, and Most Photogenic etc. The classic fair food is amazing.
