Crested Butte Ski Mountain
Located within the Gunnison National Forest, Crested Butte offers a truly moving natural scene that can only be topped by the skiing offered. Spread across 1,167 acres, Crested Butte offers visitors 121 trails; with 28 beginner trails, 69 intermediate trails and 24 advanced trails. So whether you've never been skiing before or fancy yourself a pro, there's sure to be a wide variety of skiing options to test your skill level. With 16 total lifts having the capacity to carry 20,310 people per hour, you'll never be left waiting for that next run for too long. And for those that would prefer a board to two skis, Crested Butte has long been noted for its friendly nature towards snowboarders.
More Than Skiing
Along with the typical trail skiing, Crested Butte offers a number of unique ways to enjoy the winter. A Super Pipe, Terrain Park, Tubing Hill and Snowshoe Loop are all also found on the premises to offer a fresh look at an old pastime.
