If you've been to Cozumel before, you know about all the restaurants this area has and probably already have your favorites. If you're new to the area, Rock and Java Cafe in Cozumel, QR is a place you will want to check out for yourself. Located on the Melgar seafront between Punta Langosta and Calle, they are open every day at 7 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. except for Saturdays, when they close at 2 p.m.
They are a great Caribbean café that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They serve small American-style meals like burgers, fries, salad and a shake. They also will serve fancier dinners if this is what appeals to you. You can eat in the café, take it out or even have it delivered. They thrive on satisfying the customers.
For breakfast, you can expect a great meal of Belgian waffles with fruit, omelets, breakfast tacos or all of these. They also have a full coffee bar offering cappuccino, lattes, espresso, mochas and more to go with their fresh pastries. For lunch, they offer great sandwiches and soups. You may want to try their Tortilla soup, which is out of this world. But, past patrons have stated they haven't had a meal there yet that they didn't love.
Rock and Java is a great family restaurant that will give you healthy fresh food and a very lively happy atmosphere. They even have a pool table for your entertainment while you wait for your meal. The best way to describe this place is an American-style restaurant and coffee house. Definitely make this place part of your travel plans.
