The Discover Scuba Diving Course offers Cozumel visitors the chance to experience the adventure of a lifetime in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean through a fun and safe introduction to diving. You'll enjoy the opportunity to explore the fascinating underwater world of the area and even learn a little about scuba diving for a time that can offer great memories and nautical education all at once. After a brief 40 minute class, and 20 minutes of practicing your new found skills in shallow water, you'll be ready to take to the open waters with a 30 foot maximum dive.

Throughout your first steps into the world of scuba diving you'll be led by a certified, bilingual instructor that will be more than capable of sharing the basics of scuba diving and ensuring that you are safe at all times. From taking in the technical aspects of diving to exploring the many reefs and schools of fish that call the Caribbean home, the Discover Scuba Diving Course is a great way to become accustomed to the skills needed for diving while simultaneously experiencing the highlight of your next Cozumel vacation!

Details

• The price of the Discovery activity includes one tank of air, all equipment necessary for the dive, and your entrance fees to Playa Uvas.  
• Your dive will be led by a fully certified, bilingual dive instructor.
• Unless you have a special underwater camera, cameras are not recommended for this activity.
• Everyone 12 and older is allowed to participate in this activity. Previous scuba diving experience is not necessary.
• Dress is casual! Make sure to bring your bathing suit!
• The Discovery Scuba Diving Course is not handicap accessible.
• The activity departs from Uvas Beach (Playa Uvas).
