Manitou Cliff Dwellings in Manitou Springs, CO

The Manitou Cliff Dwellings provides the chance to experience the history of the Colorado Springs area, and the history of its native people. Located in Manitou Springs, the Manitou Cliff Dwellings were used by the Anasazi people from around 1200 B.C. to 1300 A.D. Enter and explore all of the caves on the premises, there's no rules against hands-on activity at the Manitou Cliff Dwellings. Along with the dwellings, the area also features the Anasazi museum, gift shop, nature trail and reproductions of stone mesa-top buildings and Anasazi baking ovens.
