Royal Gorge Bridge & Park
Come and see nature at its finest (and most daring!) at Royal Gorge Bridge and Park! This historical landmark features scenic beauty and natural attractions as well as a Suspension Bridge, Aerial Tram, Incline Railway and the newest thrill ride, the world's highest Skycoaster®. Experience the thrill of walking across the world's highest suspension bridge, which is over a quarter of a mile long and hangs 1,053 feet above the roaring Arkansas River below. The only sound you'll hear as the doors close is your heart pounding with excitement as you glide across the majestic gorge in the cabin of the world's longest single-span Aerial Tram.
Hold your breath and hang on tight as you descend in the Incline Railway car in a natural gulch, as the towering granite walls lead you 1,550 feet down to the roaring Arkansas River. Hang on tight and take a breathless flight on the Royal Rush Sky coaster -- there's nothing between you and the gorge but thin air! Along with these thrilling and heart-stopping attractions, the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park also offers activity for the little ones like animal rides and a petting zoo. There are plenty of restaurants and gift shops onsite, so plan to spend a day taking in Colorado's amazing world wonder!
