Day 1
Board your morning motorcoach for your journey west for a stay in New Philadelphia spanning three nights. Ohio Amish Country awaits you! The evening features a supper complete with entertainment by the Mennonite Family Singers at Dutch Valley.
Day 2
Begin your morning with breakfast and then journey to the Longaberger Homestead Factory where you can see baskets of all shapes and sizes being made by hand. On your way, you'll view the world's largest basket. Afterward, you'll head to Roscoe Village and view the film Ditches of Destiny which will educate you about Ohio in the canal era. Take a ride along the Ohio and Erie Canal in a horse-drawn canal boat. The evening brings a private tour and candlelight dinner at Warther Carvings. Don't miss out on visiting the famous button house displaying unique designs comprised of over 70,000 buttons and the knife shop where the family creates the finest cutlery.
Day 3
Return to "the good old days" with a visit to Lehman's Ole Fashioned Hardware where you can view butter churns, ringer washers, and wood stoves amongst other antique appliances. Take a buggy ride over to Walnut Creek Cheese House and then head over to Graham Dunn Woodworking and Laser Art Gallery where you can view wood engraved items. Day 4
Visit the astonishing and completely restored seventeen room mansion known as the J.E. Reeves Victorian Home. It still contains all of it's original furniture! After completing this tour, you'll be escorted back home with the memories of this wonderful experience.
