The Hungarian Heritage Museum offers visitors a marvelous display of the history and artistry of the Hungarian people through exhibits featuring handwork and traditional arts. Among the highlights of the Museum are the colorful displays of folk costumes and formal court attire, and a large exhibit devoted exclusively to the exquisite art of Hungarian embroidery.
Other exhibits focus on folk art, the pastoral art of herdsmen, and ecclesiastical art that features fine textiles and needlework. Cleveland's Hungarian-American community is represented by historical exhibits and by a collection of furnishings and household items typical of the Hungarian home. Visitors are also welcome to peruse the Reference Library, which features resources in both English and Hungarian.
