Crawford Auto Aviation Museum in Cleveland, OH
A wonderful collection of antique, vintage, and classic cars and aircraft await visitors at the Crawford Auto-Aviation Museum, which features exhibits detailing Cleveland's automobile and aviation industries and the evolution of technology and style. Vehicles on display include the first car ever sold by Cleveland's pioneer car maker, Alexander Winton, as well as his Winton Bullet, which was the land-speed record holder of 1902. Other firsts in the Museum include the first enclosed automobile, an 1897 Panhard et Levassor, and the first winner of the Cleveland 500, Bobby Rahal's 1982 March Indy Car. The aviation centerpiece is a 1912 Curtiss Hydroaeroplane flown by Al Engel, a prominent Cleveland pilot.
